Kazuya is a character Nintendo fans have no attachment to because Tekken is typically affiliated with Playstation. And even then he's a trash character. If they truly wanted a fighting game villain champion that's what M Bison is for. Would have gladly traded Ken for Bison. And then you have other fan favorites like Akuma. Then you jump to Ultimate. For three years, they believed Crash, Doomguy, Hayabusa, Dante, Geno, and others were all getting in as DLC. Not wanted, BELIEVED. Then for three years, they had to watch every single DLC fighter NOT be any of them.

Finally, you reach Ultimates last DLC, and after three years of KNOWING at least one of them must be getting in, the final character ends up being... the character they knew was never going to happen. And it was hilarious.

I'm convinced everyone who calls Sora stupid for his age either hasn't played the games or doesn't remember being a teenager. Sora's one of the sharpest characters in every game he's in with the exception of 3D and in 3D he's having his main character flaws (primarily his reliance on others and optimistic nature) directly taken advantage of by the villains. At no point in KH2 does he act in a way severely out of character for the goofy 15 year old he is, and if anything KH3 is a little jarring with how he's consistently the least retarded and most proactive guy in the room for 90% of the plot.

Getting turned into a heart isn't death in the Kingdom Hearts universe, you fucking retard, and it never has been. The major plot twist of KINGDOM HEARTS FUCKING ONE is that people can survive in someone else's body without a heart, and the inclusion of Nobodies in KH2 pretty much directly states that a strong enough heart can (with some conditions) survive even without a body to reside in, because Sora did it for literally the entirety of KH1's back half as well as Chain of Memories.

There are plenty of things to bitch about in regards to KH's plot (especially where KH3 is concerned) but the whole "death is meaningless" shtick was always pure retardation from people who forgot THE FIRST FUCKING GAME IN THE SERIES and what it establishes. If anything, it contextualizes what the heartless do as WORSE than death because at least if you die, your heart eventually gets reborn into a new person. Been a KH fan since KH1's release. What killed my tolerance for the series was the shitty gacha phone game. Nonsensical story aside, the KH games were enjoyable with great gameplay. Tolerated the console hopping to follow it, had fun, glad that eventually got compilations for future players. Tied X Unchained, got bored and dropped it. X's story being to vital to the series going forward killed my interest in KH3 onwards.

Maleficent's revival is a plot point I always forget about because it's genuinely weird and not given any attempt at an explanation until the mobage, so I'll give you that one. Sales have stayed decent but I don't think Kingdom Hearts 4 will sell good. It may be a huge wake up call to executives at Square Enix that something "rotten" has happened to Kingdom Hearts and since KH is a pillar franchise for Square Enix its going to make executives angry if it doesn't sell grand.

You have to remember that if even Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth got disappointing sales like how Square Enix admitted then Kingdom Hearts which was always a weaker brand is bound to sell worse by default when you consider all its flaws.

How are either of those wrong? Literally the entire point of The Grid in KH2 and the entirety of Re:Coded as a game was to show that hearts can just manifest fucking wherever, given the chance. Hell, Pinocchio proved that in KH1.

Maleficent wasn't revived, riku didn't kill her she was knocjed back i to the past by darkness she used the time machine and the way it works is people have to remember you, the whole scene in kh2 where the 3 fairy trying not to remember her but then ended up doing so was what brought her back from the past into the future.

In fact I believe that the only way tine travel works in KH is that your heart has to have touched another person's heart enough for that heart to remember it as point of reference, and obviously maleficent touched the 3 fairy ma hearts in some way since they are from the same world
