I liked Ages best. The underwater sections with the mermaid tail were kino. I also like the puzzle focus more

I had Seasons growing up, but I feel that Ages may be the better game.
Maku Tree (Ages), Rosa, and Maple can get it.

Seasons.
Ages felt a lot easier, and I really hated the mermaid "mash a direction to move" controls and the 2 water dungeons i had to use it in

Seasons. Ages always felt like it was the other one, if that makes any sense.

Ages was the first Zelda game I ever played. I only got Seasons later. I find I replay Seasons more for gameplay, it's a lot more interactive and less railroaded because you get 4 world maps instead of 2. Ages has the better story and characters, and emotion and sense of transience, but it feels like Link is visitor to Labrynna so he's always looking in from the outside.
Seasons feels like the more personal game because Din fell in love with Link at first sight, and to be she doesn't feel like a Holodrum native. She looks and dresses like a Gerudo. So the Seasons story feels more like Link is the plot instead of a plot device. You are rescuing Din not just because you have to, but because you want to.
