I won't go researching what kind of denuvo and what kind of mods those "hundreds of mods" for these games are. The point is that denuvo is very likely to hinder in depth mechanic modding while data table or music modding will probably be fine. No one can tell for sure of course but taking a stance that it won't affect anything is just dumb. As per usual with denuvo retards I guess.

They don't have Denuvo anymore and I'm too lazy to check dates of mods that theoretically could potentially be hindered by Denuvo.
>>717413027
I've checked nexus and among the games with uncracked Denuvo SF6 has the largest amount of mods. And while vast majority are indeed simply asset swaps that obviously are gonna fine no matter what, there are also mods that run some scripts via REFramework. And that's usually the extent of modding โ€” only very rarely modders go further than that. So I don't thing Denuvo will hinder FFT modding too much.
Anonymous No.717413649

>So I don't thing Denuvo will hinder FFT modding too much
That's a logical take. I think that it will be a problem for FFT if we ever need to dig around and change how certain formulas work. But honestly we don't know yet. maybe things will be fine, but certain aspects will be hindered if they end up mattering. Maybe by the time people want to mod those aspects denuvo will have been removed and we never feel its impact too.

Is still very hard and time consuming. All mods are also limited by the PS1 processing hardware as a ceiling.
If the game coming to PC means that modders can develop things like stage and scripted events editors then you'll see more advanced content mods instead of just shifting things around for balance.

TO never reaches the unit customization FFT has. That's because the larger party size expects each unit to do one thing and do it well. FFT units can be very all around while TO units are specialized.
