I just think that the story sucks, I did not enjoy the story of miquella and honestly of marika's origins, the fucking hornsent etc...
I just think it sucks, it' all felt strangely underwhelming.
I feel like they "explained" the most boring aspects of the lore in the most boring way.
I'm not even talking about the fucking tedious gameplay and retarded "difficulty" at times and those fucking retarded sharttree fragments, and this fucking map sprinkled with fucking shit, feels like they did it in a day before wraping up the whole thing.

I tried to replay the DLC after dropping it because of how disapointed I was.
I replayed it with cheats, to take away the annoying fights, I was still so fucking bored and playing through this game was so fucking annoying that I left once again, just before entering mesmer's castle.
I had zero problem with the base game, I was hooked, but this fucking DLC is a blackhole that drains energy.
The map has pretty vistas, thats it.
I want to uninstall the game once again, but I will maybe wait until they release the fucking update, to see if they had something interesting, even though I doubt it.
I think that the DLC should have never come out, it unironically feel like a dead weight for the main game, a fucking burdain.

The main problem is not difficulty, it just amplifies it, if you enjoy the story and the game, you will be more willing to do more efforts to go through it.
But if you think that the story sucks, that the lore sucks and that you add to that the sometimes retarded difficulty, then it just piles up and turns into a chore.
This DLC is like a painting that looks good, but the paint is made out of shit.

Gameplay is not better than the main game, it's the same but the DLC content is worse, making the gameplay worse.
I said already that I tried to get back to it with cheating, to spare me the hassle of the shit gameplay, I just wanted to rush through it, but even that was a fucking burden, earing those fucking npcs, the fucking lore, the fucking shit village, the shit hornsent, the shit jars, the shit shaman, the shit miquella, the shit radhan, the shit everything.
The good things are greatly outweighted by the shit aspects.
