The absence of genders in the Advanced games always felt like a weird middle school censorship thing or some awkward localization choice. They went from FFT’s intricate class/gender interplay to “just pick a job and don’t ask questions.” Like, are we supposed to believe that Viera just spontaneously reproduce in the woods while quietly judging humans?
