MGS Delta event happening for the press today

It feels weird to me that Konami seems to be betting this big on what is essentially an extremely fancy HD remaster, like it looks good for what it is, but its not "full price game" good, it's not "MGS is back after a decade!" good. I think people would be way more excited for this remake if there was any actual news about a new game as well like what Silent Hill is doing, having just a MGS3 remake is kind of lacking imo

I haven't heard a single thing calling it dark souls invasions. The only thing they've shown so far was the prop hunt part.

Not really interested in playing this again as its the same game as the original. But I will look up videos of zoomers playing it for 1st time to see them react to kino games and realise how shit modern games are in comparison to games from 20 years ago.

Also I just can't make myself excited for a game that is a carbon copy with better graphics and easier gameplay.
I know when I do play it, i'll probably just think 'yeah, that was ok', and then feel like i want to play the original instead next time.
The pricing is ridiculous considering a lot of the people buying will be series veterans who will easily beat it in around 6-8 hours tops.
It's unfathomable to me that they didn't expand some of the levels
