I really like the style of this game and i wish there were more like it. I know it uses rpgmaker, but all the level backgrounds are hand drawn and original, have this cute aesthetic where it's just the small area surrounded by a black void, and then important event cutscenes are in all kinds of size comic style boxes instead of just fullscreen images. It probably also saves a lot of time with color schemes being pretty monochrome.
