Also, why do some people hate V3's ending so much? If Danganronpa is fictional in V3 then that just means V3 takes place in a different universe. It doesn't retroactively ruin anything because Danganronpa was always fictional to begin with. Do people misinterpret the ending and think everything was a reality show all along? It is not *exactly* the same twist because neither Makoto nor Kyoko die, whereas Kaede does.
Everyone should have been executed at the end of DRV3, but Kodaka cannot commit to consequences. That backpedaling "what if mastermind told untruth?" epilogue should not have existed.

Kyoko is executed in the bad ending, and Junko lets everyone live "happily ever after" instead of executing them all for making the wrong call
If you have a problem with the mastermind lying and people avoiding dying when "the rules" say they should, you should have a problem with all of the games because they all did this shit, not just V3.
Again DR1 ends with the same "maybe the mastermind was lying about everything" ambiguous ray of hope epilogue, the idea that the world was destroyed and everyone would die if they left Hope's Peak was the whole premise of DR1's "dilemma"
