>>717455937SMT 2 is fucking great, but you need to read in between the lines. The law ending may seem horrible (and chaos may seem noble if you donโt actually know what the chaos ending to 1 is and what would happen next) but there is more to it if you think about it and if you had seen the ending of the previous game you would know what I am talking about, SMT 2 is a law focused game so you have to pay attention to all the context and ideas itโs presenting and how it ties into the main theme, someone who is just playing it cluelessly wouldnโt notice Sophia or why itโs there. But I 100% recommend playing it and seeing all the endings, despite it being a law focused game I do recommend being neutral enough just before the final decision so that you may pick all three endings from a save state instead of having to play the entire thing over again. Look up where the final decision, make a save state but give yourself enough time so that you can swing yourself slightly to law or chaos before it because I donโt think you can get the neutral ending if you are neutral (ironically). I would say prioritise law, but itโs your decision, also watch the visionary item scenes that are on YouTube
Maybe give a quick read about concepts like William Blakeโs death of God theology, Rosicrucianism, Gnostic theology, synarchy, the hermetic order of the Golden Dawn, Christian socialism, the pillar of mercy and severity in the Kabbalah, theosophy (and luciferโs role there), Japanโs negative history with Christianity, Japanese socialism, Japanese right-wing nationalism, Thelema (though it gets a butchered rep in SMT 2), daoism, accelerationism, left and right hand path etc. but you donโt have to, just might change your impressions of whatโs going on
