I'd rather Kojima do something new than be chained to MGS on any level. Even if the spiritual successor is about escaping from MGS's shadow, i'd consider that a waste of dev time that could've been spent on something unique with a more meaningful message.

As a fan of the first I was disappointed. Think about all that data they have about where people went on the map and instead of challenging the player they just made it as easy as possible to get from A to B.

Vinny's Streams fall into two categories, the shouty, loud impersonation/ADHD ones, and the cozy, quiet snooze streams. Rimworld definitely is the latter and nice to fall asleep to.

The main issue with DS2 imo is that its a weirdly by the numbers sequel for Kojima.

The story continuation feels kind of unnecessary and doesn't add anything, the gameplay has improvements but it has also been streamlined to be more accessible, but more than anything its just Death Stranding ++, it doesn't have that "what the fuck is this" factor that DS1 did. Which is normal for sequels, but this is directed by the guy who made MGS2 when literally everyone just wanted "more MGS1", so seeing him make such a typical sequel feels a bit disappointing almost.
