I always picked toad in mk64 because I also always picked toad in super mario kart as a kid. I also didn't really have any idea that characters in racing games inherently had different stats, because I also always played krunch in dkr and he's abysmal dogshit, which probably explains why I never beat the game as a kid

The entire reason this image is so accurate is that it doesn't apply to the current year. It is a time capsule into the past, with tons of data to look back on and evaluate. Hindsight is 20/20, as they say.
