Kek, you're delusional. Multiplayer is shit due to powercreep and gamefreak's general incompetency. Also the vast majority of users dont give a rats ass about multiplayer comp. By that I mean like 95% of all users dont do online battles and only engage with shit like online trades if they are trying to complete the dex, which even that is niche. The vast, vast majority of players go through the story once and maybe fuck around a little in the post game, thats it. Pokemon has been a social sim for normalfags since Pokemon GO took off.
What they actually need to do is have a compelling story, polished mechanics, and a fucking easy/normal/hard mode thats choosable at start. Have fun collectables and encourage exploring/backtracking, like how the older games used to be. If you're going to have gimmick shit, then focus on it for multiple fucking gens instead of abandoning it for the next retarded thing next gen. And for fucks sake, bring back dickhead rivals. Funnily enough, you could also fix compfag shit by just limiting the VGC to whatever is in the current gen's roster, thus having easier balancing. But that would require them to have a decent selection of pokemon and actual competency.
As is, its only good for porn. Its been that way for 3-4 gens now. Except now the latest gen doesnt even have that because the designs arent even appealing any more.
