For super ornstein, roll through his attacks and hit him. His windups are very easy to read. If he does the smough laugh, roll backwards instead of forward.

It's really not that fucking hard unless you're way undergeared.

I like the fight but I agree with OP. A&R is so much easier, but at the same time it's a much more satisfying and well balanced fight. I think the main reason is the way their attacks interact with each other. If A&R clash in their attacks they will drop their swords or hit each other and become vulnerable, but with O&S their attacks with phase through each other, sometimes causing Ornstein to seemingly impale Smough and hit you through him. It feel unfair and it makes it hard to get a safe opening to attack.

Ceaseless doesn't get nearly enough shit honestly, I guess From just decided that including the ginmick kill meant they didn't have to make sure the boss wasn't otherwise retarded. It's extra annoying because Ceaseless is the worst boss in the game and is mandatory, but Centipede Demon, the only good chaos boss, is optional.
