Not really, I gave it a good 20 hours and the whole time was a struggle and stumble over the amount of crafting/management/taxes shit going on.
All the "funny" videos have the wild shit but that only happens after 300 hours of exploits and figuring out that you can turn dirt into meat into bait into fish into bonito flakes into bonito wine which sells for thousands.
You've either gotta enjoy experimenting with that stuff or look up guides, but the game hamstrings you with experimenting because you only get enough energy at the start to do like 5 things in a day.
I'd say unless you have the right autism the game is a chore
