Anyone old enough to remember Hellgate London? Ex-blizzard employees have proven themselves to be talentless grifters since the dawn of ex-blizzard employees.

anytime someone advertises themselves as having once worked with a big company, it's usually a scam somehow.
I don't know if this was the game or a different one, but there was some game that advertised having blizzard devs/employees and most of them were random suits or marketers that couldn't write a single line of code.

Kickstarter early access is a scam? You don't fucking say?
Anonymous No.717479167
Notice all ex Blizzard employees are scumbags? It's because Blizzard is a scumbag company filled with talentless hacks that haven't made a good game in 20 years. Microsoft should just cage the IPs and delete that company. It would be for the best.

Lol at some point i wonder when people will learn
plus anytime devs main point about a game being ex such and such i feel like the game turns being bad to mid

Well, of course, they're ex employees for a reason.
And they try to twist that into something good as though not working at a successful company anymore is something to be praised, and they totally aren't failures that are just using a big corporate name to scam people.
First red flag is "ex-employee"
Second red flag is Kickstarter.
Third red flag is early access.
That's three fucking strikes, they're out.

"Misinformation" is one of the most annoying buzzwords the media made popular.
>Y-You're spreading MISINFORMATION!
Am I wrong?
>N-No?
Am I misinforming anybody?
>N-No?
Am I hurting your feelings and you need a scapegoat to make yourself feel better?
>Y-Yes?

Scams have always been an honest-to-god NPC filter, so I unironically respect the hustle. Subhumans/consoomers/NPCs can never be taught to make sound judgements nor can they be trained to control their impulses without immediately regressing. The greatest grift has always been that people are made equal. Maybe stop trying to shine the shitball that is their existence and just enjoy having the knowledge that each of them will invariably lead themselves and each other to their own demise.

It's just your average 2nd gen blizzard devs and vibe coders possessing very little skill and having absolutely 0 motivation to create a passion project THEY actually want to play (99% of modern devs are just trained monkeys who want to collect their paycheck for a comfy 9 to 5 office job)

I knew it was over when all the box ticking started to please investors instead of, you know, the people that are actually supposed to play the fucking thing.
But hey, at least brown women can now feel represented in this totally-not-dead-within-a-month real-time strategy game.

This, it's always amusing to see how all these souless turds have budgets inflated to hell, meanwhile you look at some good game with a lot of polish and decent production value and it's like "oh yeah we had million dollars I think and the voice acting was done my me, Ronald, Joe and Emily over there"

Blizzard has always made games that already exist.
This used to work because they had a god tier engineering team during a a time where video game technology was rapidly changing.
But Ex-Blizzard devs have less money, less talent and are in an environment where video game technology has been stagnant. So their ideas just end up being worse versions of games that already exist.
Dreamhaven is a looking to be a bit different with trying to make smaller games more appropriate for smaller teams but it doesn't mean anything they make is going to be a success.

Copying from another thread:

>Co-op PvE has been one of the most popular gamemodes in SC2 and a lot of people are looking for a similar experience: "lets focus on PvP and do 3 player co-op which is just infinitely worse as a baseline! Then lets do really shitty monetisation on this gamemode that is extremely blatantly unfinished so anyone who might consider our game for co-op will want nothing more to do with it!"
>There is a solid amount of really good campaigns you can play in SC2 ranging from entirely custom campaigns to main campaign remakes and overhauls that anyone can play for free: "Lets focus on our own half-assed shit story campaign that is worse by all accounts and hope our game sells!"
You can tell they tried to draw in the zoomer crowd with their artstyle and le quirky dialogue but the audience just isn't there. Zoomers play phone games and slop like Roblox, and you want to try and sell them on tryhard pvp with just the lamest fucking edgelord demons vs humans theming?
>Announce cool features like terrain destruction: "whoah back up that sounds like it might be interesting, lets cut that before the first alpha and go back to basics!"
And their release announcement was just utterly pathetic: "we want to keep making this game for a long time" Great, your audience just wants a properly finished fucking game, not some perpetual "project" and then they go "we need your help!" Yeah, great, so you're already telling people your product is likely to fail and with it all that support and development you claim it still needs. Fantastic, really selling it to me there.

It's dead, Jim.

considering the ABSOLUTE STATE of corporate environment, being formerly employed at a company during its good old days (and not the modern horrible days) is more than respectable
the key question is whether those people were really involved with establishing the good old days, and whether those people left due to corporate bullshit and not mundane incomptence
no objections towards the other red flags though
