Cheaper prices because of said physical copies due to used copies, companies trying to clearance out items from their shelves/warehouses, or just because the console version gets sales sooner. PC is only able to get to this level if you're fine with grey key markets like G2A or CDkeys.
Plug and play. There is no need to set up any graphical settings, tweak, or anything. What you see is what you get and you get peace of mind.
Console gaming is generally more stable in the bug department unless the game specifically has mods that fix it. Simple examples include
>Assassin's Creed Valhalla had PC-specific audio issues for two years straight that didn't exist on consoles that entire time.>Assassin's Creed Origins to this day does not have the correct water like console does even if you max out the graphical settings.>Yakuza 0 has completely broken minigames on PC that to this day have yet to be fixed on top of having the incorrect arcade game versions so they're harder for no reason.>Deadly Premonition on PC even with DPfix is just objectively the worst version by a country mile to the point that emulating the Switch version is a better idea than playing it.People do not want to play in front of monitors, they want to play in a living room. Setting up a PC in the living room is not realistic and if you even entertain the notion you are completely delusional that anyone but extreme enthusiasts are going to bother with that kind of setup.
People consider PCs work, and many people use them for their work so they don't want to use them to play games after just having spent 8+ hours at work using one.
Even if you want to get into PC gaming 99.9% of people are not going to go to pcpartpicker and grab any build from there they are going to go to a Best Buy and buy a prebuilt or spend like $500 more than they should at Microcenter.
People who evangelize PC gaming are so lost in the sauce that they don't realize they're a niche.
