Learn to use the block button and time your fastest buttons to hit between your opponents slowest strings. it's insane to me how many /v/ people just face tank damage and then don't react to DR or DI and then cry about it

if you know it's coming, backdash can evade it quickly or simply jumping (more costly if the opponent can recover and anti-air you in time)
if the opponent is mixing up throw with fast blockstrings learn delay tech. The window for breaking grabs is always bigger than blocking a normal
