At some point, one realizes that most Japanese composers are doing so with full knowledge that many listeners will recognize what they're doing -
that is, a tribute made out of appreciation, or parody (which is still made out of appreciation).

You cannot rip off one of the most, if not the most iconic track from a Japanese (and worldwide) music god's debut album and think that you'll get off Scott free - but she did, because almost everyone was in on it.
