In a few years, we can play video games in our car and let the AI does all the driving.

You ever had those dreams where you're in a car but you can't steer or control it?
That's how I imagine self driving cars feel, but IRL
I'm not gonna use em

I don't know where it came from, but in 20 years when all the cars drive themselves, you will get bored inside of that car for 2h with nothing to do.

People will masturbate. Think about that.

Imagine, a world, where your shitty 10 year old android phone that can no longer run anything modern and everything is a security risk demanding you to upgrade to a new fucking phone as a humiliation ritual waste of money?

That's what they want you to do with these cars. Forever debt maxed and have to get another one

you know what's even worse?
using monitors for the instrument panel and having it be tied to the infotainment system.
because there's no possible chance that the shoddily written system would shit itself and freeze.

I'm not boughtening a modern car.
I don't want the controls I can't touch.
I don't want the controls that try to control me.
Sorry, just won't be happening.

They've been getting more advanced in trying to shut down small time mechanics. They want a monopoly on repairs where everyone has to go the dealership to get it fixed. I have no idea how car companies haven't been sued for this yet.

self driving cars are a meme

rain and fog completely fuck their cameras/sensors and computers have a baby-tier sense of awareness

for example, there's a truck parked in front of crosswalk and you can see a pedestrian walking towards the crosswalk and then eventually behind the truck

you know the pedestrian is still there but the computer on board no longer sees it therefore it no longer exists

>>That's what they want you to do with these cars
This. Most cars run Android now too, just with the manufacturer's custom skin over it. The modern car is Internet connected and has all the same vulnerabilities of an outdated phone.
