I just uninstalled Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I was on the third game and really close to the end, too. I loaded into my save, saw one of those flat, soulless NPCs in front of me ready to spout their boring dialogue, and I was like, "I don't feel like playing this anymore." I only played so much of it because it's localized in French, which I'm studying.
What a dull game. It's no wonder video games aren't considered art with slop like that getting hailed as the best of all time.

I 100% believe Bioware payed journalists and reviewers to praise mass effect and dragon age games and braindead gamers just kinda pretended they good, emperors new clothes shit.
I made a comment 5 minutes ago that everything they shit out looks like fake games you would see in a movie. they are just so generic and boring it's bizzare they were so popular it basically inspired other franchises to change their games to be more narrative based with more talking and choices and whatever the fuck

I have done like 7 or more playthroughs of ME1. I think at least 3 for ME2. I loved these two games at one point.

I actually agree with you. Something about Bioware constantly fucking this series up eventually finally woke me up from the trance I was in. The dialogue to these games is especially cringe. Not always due to the voice acting but the conversations in these games feel so inorganic due to the shitty motion capture of the character models. Its why Shepard punching the reporter comes off so hilarious and was one of the most memorable parts of both games.

I decided to never buy ME3 btw. Got soured that much on the series and decided long ago there is no point in buying the game. I love the idea behind ME, the potential for its lore and characters even. I just hate the owners and what they did with it. So no point in getting invested in the series.

Can one of the non-fanboys tell me if I should get ME:LE for 6 bucks. I already have 1 & 2 on pc but I want to play with a controller. I don’t care for ME 3 and I remember that you have to be a badass anti liberal space nazi if you want any good pussy at all in Mass Effect 1 & 2. Otherwise the game insinuates that you’re gay.
