Kinda pathetic. From all other reports, EA let Bioware do what they wanted and only cracked down when it's been 7 fucking years and they had shit to show for it. So, EA does share some blame for lack of oversight.

Yes they do. People take it for granted, but it takes a lot of skill to worldbuild on strict deadlines with minimal retcons. Their character writing was overhated too, they sound more natural and less one-note than anime characters. Even their chud villains have depth to them

There's a reason why Bethseda just re-releases their games constantly.

Mass Effect went to shit because ME1's lead writer, Drew Karpshyn, was fired during the making of ME2. He had the whole trilogy penned out, but Casey Hudson decided to be retarded and replaced him with a cheap hack.

I dislike dating sim shit and completely ignored it in every game I played in that era, I didn't even know there were sex scenes in mass effect because I didn't care. I always thought mass effect was shitty and overrated and could never understand why everyone else loved it. I just assume it's exactly the same audience who loves FE three houses and persona.
