I don't think I've ever read another trilogy in which each subsequent book is so much worse than the previous one. I am talking about the first three books of the Black Company specifically.
The first book is easily 9 or 10/10, mysterious, funny, a bit edgy but very fun and intriguing. The second book starts showing some cracks and the third book is a complete simpfest slog, I had to force myself to read it.
