No they don't. They try to copy "muh extraction shooter" bs, which isn't why Tarkov is popular

Why was EGS delisting Dark and Darker? Did the company state something harmful to Uncle Xi?

Its literally the only method of play in Tarkov anon, that game is literally "THE" Extraction shooter on the market everyone talks about. What else you got? h1z1? That's not talked about anymore.

I find it amazing how Westoids have become so stupid and lazy that they are PHYSICALLY unable to create games anymore
A jewy russian still can't be mogged still to this day , despite the fat fuck still holding the game in Beta.

>we have gone through structural reform, as we announced last year, so this independence is getting lighter, and Bungie is shifting into a role which is becoming more part of PlayStation Studios, and integration is proceeding.
LMFAO. Bungie finally loses what miniscule amount of soul they had left.

Sony absolutely SCAMMED by bungiechads who stopped coming to work after creating the MASTERPIECE that is Destiny 1

makes me wonder if DMZ 2.0 is going to get shelved, I know Activision wanted to bring it back next year but it seems unlikely with the current state of the industry

something to do with the Korean court ruling IIRC, I think it was found Ironmace HAD infringed on Nexon's property

The Forever War? It's more of a military sci-fi survival horror with permadeath mechanics- and it also works offline, or so I'm led to believe.

People like Tarkov for its hardcore milsim elements and realism almost as much as the dopamine of extracting with a bunch of loot

ARC was liked by basically everyone, but they are 100% waiting way too long to release it. The hype from everyone that you saw a few months ago is long gone

it is playable offline and totally solo. I would describe it as a solo extraction shooter, the whole game revolves around finding loot/gear on a map & extracting with it and you lose your gear when you die (but there is a corpse run mechanic to reclaim your shit). That's like the whole appeal of extraction shooters, you can do it without the competitive multiplayer element.
By the way, game still plays incredibly jank but gosh it sure looks nice.

>>717505270
it no longer drains when you're not playing, devs changed it. Now it's just a currency used to deploy in higher difficulty versions of each map.

Why didn’t Sony decapitate Bungie’s C-Suite the moment they bought the studio?
Anonymous No.717509582 [Report] >>717512512
>>717509004
Actually it's more than that it's 3.6 billion dollars.

Jesus fucking christ they could have nabbed how many jap studios could they have nabbed for a fucking fraction of that? How the fuck is Sony's gaming division still running when they bleed money like this?

Because they were (still are, arguably) downing vast amounts of stupid pills.

Its kinda genius that Pete and Jason basically got paid to kill their company. The buy out mixed with managements greed immediately pushed anyone who was still around from the Microsoft days out of the company to prevent their shares from vesting(something they also did earlier on a smaller scale when Destiny 1 released).

Tarkov is more than the sum of it's parts you idiot. Every game that insists it's going to eat Tarkov's lunch copies maybe 20% of the core gameplay loop at best and then just expected everyone to jump ship. They make 0 additional content for the game after release and immediately go into milk mode and people dip every single time.

Don't get me wrong, Tarkov is a dumpster fire and Nikita is a piece of shit. But when BSG isn't trying to fuck people over with bullshit business practices and aggressive anti-consumer garbage they actually make great maps and fun environments to shoot people in. I really hope a company comes around and actually whole hogs tries to shut out tarkov instead of this beating around the bush trash they all release.

The deal likely included 'Key Man' clauses that protected certain people in Bungie. You don't sleaze your way into the C-Suite without being able to cover your ass.

>>717511041
You can get some insight by looking into Ubisoft's financial filings around SW Outlaws. I think the licensing fees came up in there, somewhere. Disney asks for some percent up front just for the 'fee,' and then they get X% of sales or something. You barely scrape anything out, so it's usually a desperation bid to get some extra eyes on your game while earning a few bucks from the brain rotted SW paypigs.

>Marathon before March

If it won't be this year, my guess is Jan/Feb before the GTAVI marketing machine starts churning. It's still going to flop.

The crazy thing is that Bethesda was bought up for 7.6 billion. Sony paid half of that for a company that has only one IP, which is a slowly dying MMOFPS, and somehow thought they would help them in their GAAS slop venture when they couldn't even help themselves

How did Destiny go from a "game that's going to be good one day" to a "game that people get nostalgic about how it used to be good" without that period in the middle where it is ACTUALLY good? The game literally flipped from one to the other overnight

Sony's buying of Bungie was a combination panic response to MS getting ATVI, and their (Sony's) desire to go all-in on live service.

The stupidest fucking part is that MS tried to get Bungie at the same time as ATVI, but after MS looked at Bungie's finances, they laughed when Bungie asked for more than $1b. Sony just made a bad purchase and is paying the price for it.

Same shit happen with every single game from that era.
Assassin's Creed, Battlefield 3, COD 4, etc.
100 000 gamers saying it's shit in the 2000s had a lot more weight than in 2025 when there's 1 billion NPC saying it's good because they only know how to eat shit

by pretending to be an MMO and making an insane multibillion dollar decade+ long release plan, which is easier to swallow for investors and publishers but much harder to create content that is reactionary based on player reception and feedback, which has almost never mattered in destiny, and is otherwise a valuable asset for MMOs
