Videogames are unironically too powerful. They give both the player and the creator too much power. It's too democratized. You can slap a whole bunch of assets from across the Internet and make a game about killing anyone you don't like. And we've been doing that since Newgrounds. Governments and corpos struggle to fetter this freedom, and they're clearly trying. This is too much soft power to hand to the little guys like you and me.
