Light Machine Guns ?
Counter Strike, probably. Borderlands 2 wasn't bad for that either but it's more cartoony. Stalker games are great for gunplay as well.
Gunplay alone can't carry a game. If that's you care for, go outside and touch grass at a firing range.

I think the machineguns in Helldivers 2 feel good. Each has its own niche and is satisfying.

LMGs are death machines in Wild Assault. It's not too hard to score 10+ kills on a single magazine. Buffed and getting healed, you can lay waste to groups of people. It's early access furshit, but it's fun to play. Shitton of microtransactions but it's all skins, all characters and weapons are free. I'd recommend holding off on buying right now though. It only has 4 maps to play on at the moment, and that's not much for $15.
