Anyone with a brain saw that 2077 was going to be fucked, the biggest giveaway was them refusing to give out console review keys, none of the "early access" tests were on console, despite marketing being tied to consoles.
The constant revision of their "mission statement" for the title over the prior 2-3 years also didn't help build confidence either, the only people who were hyped were normalfags who don't pay attention to anything, and they rightfully got burned.
The game is in a playable state now, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, and that's already a stretch when you could get it for $4-$5 right after launch because it was that shit

It was pretty much broken for some people on older gen consoles. That's really it.

Much smoother playing experience. Great aesthetic. Great soundtrack. Lots of fashion/cars (if you're into that). The combat is simple but on harder difficulties can catch up to you. The devs overhauled the entire upgrade/talent/skill system with the 2.0/Ultimate launch so it bears little resemblance to what came first.

If you want a good looking, contemporary, Action RPG experience, it's gonna make you happy.
