The Steam Overlay is actually legitly a piece of shit with a long, LONG history of fucking with games and breaking them due to Valve screwing up how they inject it.

Why in the fuck would I ever want the overlay? Anything it can do can be done better with an actual browser etc. Are you still in 2001 where it takes 10 seconds to alt+tab?

Legit dumbest take I've ever seen, specifically since even Steam acknowledges and allows people to turn off features that plenty of people don't want enabled. What does anything you are blabbing about have to do with a program throwing an error code and locking you out of a game?
