Can Zoomers into RTS or is it exclusively a Boomer genre?

I dunno, I'm 30 and it's always been my favorite genre.
The genre unfortunately suffers from two very vocal minorities:
Shitters who want a city builder instead, who complain about the tryhards who want an ASSFAGGOTS instead, who complain about the shitters. Neither of those minorities enjoy RTS, let alone even play them, yet inside the other has ruined the genre.
RTS has always been an outlying niche, and now it's even more so since noisy retards can't decide what an RTS game even is.

I intended to say "yet INSIST the other...", I'm retarded.
Anyway, my favorite game ever is Warcraft 3, I think the RPG mechanics are pretty neat in how they promote build diversity.

Idk, even at 30, I can't really get into them. I've tried over and over again, but its one of those genres where no matter how much you practice, you're going to get stomped by others if you didn't grow up playing it. Not that fun.

idk i spent years playing Crusaders kings 2 and Hoi4(mostly kaiserredux because vanilla sucks) and I enjoy them a lot.

Zoomers have been boomers for like 20 years now.

Totalwar is best as single player. Much easier to learn than Starcraft. Get warhammer 3 and enjoy it.

i know more zoomers into RTS and 4X games than other generations. in the 90s and early 00s i knew people who were into RTS games but that is all they played and the people i knew who played other genres generally didn't play RTS games. but i know a bunch of zoomers who play shit like crusader kings and the total war games while playing outside of the strategy genres as well.
