I just finished BoF 1 and I was thinking of trying BoF 2 since I heard good things about it and had a lot of fun with the first game, even though the translation was pretty shit. Is there anything else I should know about this game or the rest of the franchise? I know there's about 4-5 games in the BoF series.

3 and 4 are the favorites and 5 is the black sheep. If you stomached through 1, then you'll enjoy 2 even more. Your enjoyment of the series can only go up. If you are looking into getting a better translation, there are mods out there. Pretty sure the gba versions of 1 and 2 also have their own official retransaltions, so you can look into whatever floats your boat.
