What do they have to show for it? A couple of games carried over from switch 2 and some lazy ass ports / extended versions of OLD games. It is blue balling. They were gearing up for something big only to do the bare minimum

Switch 2 has MKW, Bananza, Prime 4, Hyrule warriors, Kirby, Pokemon and a massive back catalog of switch 1 games.

I do remember 3DS and it was very dire. But Switch 1 had BOTW right off the bat which was a massive game, and later got games like xenoblade 2 and splatoon 2 that same year. All games with big replay value and longevity compared to party game mario kart

Why is there an ever-increasing gap in mainline releases for everything that isn't Pokémon? They should have waited a year for a better launch lineup.

MKW has infinitely more replay value. Also switch 2 has much better third party support right out of the gate that dont run like shit. Silksong will run the same across the board for example. Id say switch 2 is equally as good as switch 1. With prime 4, pokemon, kirby and hyrule warriors. Also switch 1 has zero back catalog. Switch 2 is way better so far. Me and buddies have had a blast playing MKW, Smash, DK etc.

Holy we have waited almost 20 years for a new prime game, 11 years since the last mario kart and 25 years since donkey kong. Have some patience and let the other franchises have the spotlight.
