The game is not optimized in a great way. At least on launch, I'm pretty sure there was some stock UE5 setting they forgot to change, and on top of that it has this MHWorld type of thing going on where it just looks weirdly grainy. Then again, it's UE5. The graphics weren't why I dropped the game, though. That was because I simply don't care for the focus on dodging/parrying when I am more used to standard JRPGs.

I think it mostly looks good, even great in areas like frozen hearts. But my only major complaints with this game has always been the egregious bloom. Scorched my corneas more than a few times playing this, along with the PTSD of being reminded of the dogshit xbox 360 era of BROWN N BLOOM.

The other complaint is the picto/lumina menu is a piece of shit. They needed to put in loadouts so the player can avoid that nightmare of a menu as much as possible.

It's fun. It's a turn based RPG. It's the price of a fucking Wii game.
