It's funny that everything you learn about the Gatekeepers motives come from IS-0012 so in hindsight a lot of it is a complete lie.
The GKs were killing Gate staff because IS-0012 is a shapeshifter who is really good at impersonating staff so anyone escaping could potentially be it and there'd be no way to stop it.
Then they shut down the reactors to prevent IS-0012 from reaching Shadowgate.
Meanwhile in Shadowgate, they were trying to prevent IS-0117 from entering Anteverse 2 like IS-0012 intended.
When everything went to shit (for some mysterious reasons), they became desperate to prevent IS-0012 from escaping and tried to lock down the Dark Lens, and prevent anyone from using it.

It's absurd that you can stunlock enemies with throwing as soon as you hit 15 but you need 20 in accuracy to do the same with guns. It's made even worse by the fact that throwing is way easier to level than accuracy. Then again, many passives are completely useless by the time you unlock them.

Zag, the director, stated
>I'm just trying to kill some conjecture. A character can say "Time is funky" and someone will go "this line clearly implies there are at least 3 concurrent GATE storylines..."
>"So I just want to clarify, everything in the story ABF takes place rooted in Anteverse 0, with obvious exceptions such as 23, and the multitude of anteverses we visit with varying laws of physics or other inhabitants, chemical makeups, maybe scale someday, and so on."
and also
>"Time is quite linear. I can't speak for the Unlost and their perception of time."
So basically there's no time loop and there's no "we'll just go to another anteverse and stop it!" coming in the story. The only time shenanigans are the temporal resets with the other anteverses.

You can't sort by recently discovered, you can't click on the recipes you've pinned, you even have to MANUALLY search the recipe to UNPIN it...
Can't search anything by material too. And you have items like F.O.R.G.E where, of course, you can't search for FORGE.

And, for some reasons, it's only FOUR ITEMS PER ROWS???????

Is there ANYTHING to do to make the UI stop sucking cocks? Literally ANYTHING, I would take it.

As far as every other "convinience" seems like nothing really matters: you can just get tonns of water with barrels and a cart, vending machines everywhere, drink dispensers you just buy 20 of them at a time or something...So really the only deciding factor seems to be "how easy it is to get back to". >Recursive, super-positioned location. The momentum of the train corresponds to the strong atomic force of the matter of the portal world. If it stopped, our galaxy would be destroyed due to the release of all potential energy contained within this anomaly's atoms.
The movement of the train embodies the fundamental nuclear force holding matter together in IS-0138. If it stops then all the energy in that universe would be freed instantaneously as if you just turned off that law of physics.
Every single particle of matter/energy in that universe would immediately undergo a process similar to nuclear fission. Ran some numbers and if every single particle in the universe (estimates put it at about 10^90) underwent fission at the same time it'd be like having 7.7x10^47 teratons of TNT go off. The energy output of the sun is about 91 teratons per second. If the train stops, it'd be like having the sun go supernova every second for over 30 decillion years - but it'd happen in an instant.
I don't know how exactly portal worlds connect to our universe but it's safe to say if the portal was still open (even if it is that 3'x3' circle as it appears in-game) it would probably do more than destroy the milky way.

security is actually pretty short, but you can get lost. A tip is that you progress by finding each of the 3 portals, it's purposefully designed so that you can't access the later areas until you teleport there and open a gate
if you're annoyed by the darkness you can be like me and craft a bunch of lights to put there
you're almost at midway through the game now

its not very viable to give everyone a keypad as the mats become more expensive, so you just need to stick with 1 main player having the most upgraded keypad

You can use tech scrap to lay extension cords from outlets. You need a battery farm next to the outlet you're using to keep the teslas going overnight. You need more like 16 teslas, not 6. Otherwise, the bots will be able to get an attack off each time they spawn.
