Imagine going back 20 years to tell the Painkiller community that their game will be most of the iconic franchise in the future because it will get released in 2016, but it's called "DOOM". You couldn't make this shit up.

The game is probably fine and recording yourself doing something obviously inane doesn't change anybody's mind

No. Painkiller is an arena to arena shooter, focus on movement tech, with upgradeable weapons and resource juggling mechanics. Especially the arena to arena progression is very much like 2016 Doom, Doom Eternal and Doom Dark Ages. OG Doom has almost nothing in common with Nu Doom except enemy design.

This game was like a fart in the wind.
