you can RNG into having lei target hong with 6+ attacks then hong can attract every attack and get max fragile the next turn without leisault being staggered t1. You superbia crushbound to get the passive rolling asap.

T2 hongers eats shit while leisault wins 2 clashes for the SP. Make sure to bring a hong id with gluttony like Khong (helps that his defend is gluttony) so you can turn on Gcorp greg's bench passive which prevents leisault from dying to burn.

T3 if you got perfect RNG you can use regret on the triple coin gluttony skill and clash the two envy skills. Another perfect RNG check is getting enoug S2/3 to have spent every regular bullet. Leisault gets staggered off the pride skills and he reloads+unstaggers.

Assuming you pass all those RNG checks your golden. Sometimes you can get fucked by the 5% tails at 45sp but suprisingly his unbreakable coins arent a meme and he can force a stagger through raw tremor burst bullshit on his S2/3.

You have up to 7 characters in the field at current end game. Each of them has 2 skills per turn to pick from as an option (+defense skill +EGO skills aka ultimates). A skill must always target an enemy skill so yes it becomes a puzzle of 7 characters x 4 abilities x number of enemies to create permutations each turn.

Win rate aka auto button works for trash fights and early parts of the story but you'll get destroyed by bosses later in the game as they have a lot of skills and passives you have to account. And once you've made your choices then comes the RNG of rolling for attack results.Things like skills you absolutely don't want to clash with, different enemies or parts of monsters you want to kill first matter. There's also speed and how that messes up the math and stagger tresholds on enemies, sometimes the best option is to ignore clashing and abuse speed system to just pummel one enemy and hope you stagger them before they get to attack.

The story isn't going anywhere. You play the first couple cantos with whatever bullshit you get, then you start playing regularly and saving up pulls so you can do a decent amount on a good banner like a Walpurgis. You accumulate rolls and play passively for awhile, you spend rolls and play actively for awhile. This is the key to all those games that supposedly "demand" you constantly pay and gamble.

Feel free to hit about -300 on starter buffs, since you can recover that on a floor 10 run if you go all hard.
I tend to focus on cost and shop-related gifts first, since more cost always helps you scale better.
What team you run really depends on what you've got available. I'd advise using whichever team scales their rolls hardest that you have. For me that's Charge/Rupture, Poise/Rupture, or Poise/Bleed.
Beyond that, it's really more about knowing what stuff to branch into once you've basically finished off your actual keywords.
