It's all relative. Bethesda's stuff is way too expensive for what it is, and there's a shitload of it available. Doesn't help that the retail price for their official DLC was also overpriced for recent games (Fallout 4, Starfield). And as much as it's "nice" that modders can get a slice of the pie with CC / Creations, it's also pretty degenerate that Bethesda exploits this to both flesh out barebones games and generate "free" money for themselves.
I don't love the Castle Crashers DLC, but at the same time, it's a pretty inoffensive addition that gives players an easy modding tool to play with if they want. And you really don't miss out on anything by skipping the purchase. It's not a FOMO tactic or an attempt to flesh out anything that was barren. It's just an extra cosmetic gimmick for a game that already feels complete.
