The Baron (Mr Damp's master) was Therese. Can't recall much, but it was something about her trying to gain control over Seattle for herself. There was also some retcon to Vandal/Damp lore to make it make sense of how Vandal is vampire now? Don't remember what exactly.

Bloodlines 2 has been through multiple studios, with probably close to 1000 different hands touching the project in the process. The original studio was closed down and many of those devs have quit the industry entirely. Onyx Path was finally allowed to write future WoD books again.

You have stuff like the History (starting perk) that was intended by troika but cut out because it was too buggy, and then you have stuff like the library quest which wesp5 pulled out of his ass.

Basically he found unused concept art from early in développement that showed a library building. So he decided to create it from scratch, add it to Bloodlines, and make his own quest involving it. And of course, it is all voiced by brown teenagers with a 5$ microphone.
Simialrily, the plus patch adds a whole labyrinth in Grout’s mansion that was never intended by Troika. Wesp5 just found some old concept art file of a labyrinth and figured it would make sense if it was in grout’s mansion, so he built the thing from scratch and it’s clunky asf.

Wesp is absolutely convinced that Hardsuit's game was great and Paradox cancelled it because they hate real RPGs. People have tried to explain to him that Paradox would not have fired the studio and scrapped almost the entire game over RPG mechanics.

Like, look at a game like Singularity. They brought in another team and spent 11 months retooling it from this overambitious time travelling FPS into a BioShock ripoff. They did what was necessary to get the game over the line. They cut so much content. They hastily wrote audio logs to try to paper over the plot holes they were creating as they glued the game together. And the end result was pretty good.

There are some leaks from 2021 where people who knew a guy who knew a guy said that Hardsuit's game was a boring mess, wasn't fun, and it was seen as a complete disaster of a project that was unfixable. Paradox spent a lot of money. Completely cancelling it, like they did before Sumo stepped in with their offer to find a way to reboot it, was not a decision taken lightly.
