You also don't need to do the attack cancelling with her to get decent DPS like you do with Hu Tao. it's the latest metaslave endgame but it's not fun even for metaslaves, and as always you can clear story content and exploration with whatever you want, farming some world bosses might be annoying though so you might have to turn down the world level, like at the end of the day all we can say here is that you should get citlali if you want to run a pyro main dps, she's good for exploration too since she has a really high jump, which lets you bypass 90% of shitty puzzles where they just put shit slightly out of your reach, but aside that I dunno, just use whatever supports you have

Sumeru has Dendro as a whole which is heavily focused on and most of the puzzles rely on using it. You also can't fight the mushrooms with elec/pyro or they drop different drops way more than their normal drops.
Fontaine has pneuma and ousia which, while mostly irrelevant on normal enemies, is more important in certain boss fights and a lot of the puzzles.
Natlan makes heavy use of the Saurians and phlogiston as a whole and you have to learn every single tribe's various Saurian gimmicks.

You can still beat the story with random stuff you have but enemies in Fontaine like the elite Fatui chicks and the mechs are going to be fairly tanky and stuff like the weasels, lava rocks, and mechs are going to be annoyingly tanky in Natlan. Citlali would genuinely be a good pull if you are dead set on sticking with Hu Tao because she's a straight buff for her.

Nothing confusing, you can use D.Traveler or Colleiflower for the puzzles but you have to have some Dendro on your team for basically all of the region for puzzles because they only give you the Dendro flower you typically use with an archer if you're at some puzzle that requires you to hit stuff in the sky.
Fontaine has pneuma/ousia orbs in most areas where you need to use a character that has one. I believe Lynette is still free via the Spiral Abyss so you basically just have her and H.Traveler on the team permanently and use the orbs for the rest of the puzzles they can't do (Like ranged ones).

You need someone like Xilonen or Kazuha to shred Pyro (Or just any VV user really), have someone put Hydro or Cryo on the enemy, and then you press burst. The slash should deal like 250-500k damage depending on if you have her weapon, good stats, and everything at 9/10. Then if you have someone like Furina constantly applying Hydro with her summons holding charge attack should lead to you dealing like 80k vapes.

She deals absurd damage, she just need the right team comp, and even if you don't want to use her in that way but just for her coordinated attacks you can throw her onto any team that wants that and for like 10 seconds fire rains from above dealing like 10-20k damage. She's fantastic.

In a better timeline genshin got a hard mode overworld where each area was its own puzzle or battle challenge. Loadouts were one of the first big updates. Old areas had migrating ley line type wave grinds to encounter suited to their themes and elements. Player worlds had resource spawn variabilities which you could trade access to for items you wanted. Trading included everything from resources to primos constellations. All daily weekly monthly resource limits had diegetic logic behind it. Fish bug gem hunting and collecting were healthy endgame hobbies. I'm getting depressed thinking about how much this game fucking sucks.

You can't beat the cubes without their specific gimmick due to it taking an eternity when they have their shields up and you literally cannot do the last 20% of the damage if you don't participate in their gimmick. Geo and Dendro will survive indefinitely unless you break all the pillars or light the flowers on fire.
If you don't kill the Hydro Tulpa's spawns it makes the boss incredibly tanky and two-shot you.
If you walk into the Elec bird or The Power of Water is to Change into any Shape with their respective elements you've cut your damage by an insane amount.
The Suanni is functionally invincible for 20 seconds if you don't have Cryo on your team.
The Crab is an enormous damage sponge unless you break the shell. Without she shell broken it has so much defense.
The seahorse fills the entire arena with "The floor is electro" circles that make the fight an absurd chore until you break the horn.
The Aeonblight Drake makes archers pretty much mandatory or it stays in flight forever once it jumps.
If you can't kill the Overseer quickly enough Electro + Dendro is mandatory or it stays cloaked for 20ish seconds and then as soon as it gets out it starts the cloak again.
The Baptist makes opposing all three of its daily elements mandatory as you need a minimum of two shield breaks to kill it, realistically three.
The Legate requires a greatsword user bare minimum, otherwise Geo because it is absurdly tanky until the shield is broken and has a one-shot attack with the harp it spawns.

But because you can impulse spend and it doesn't feel like you "wasted" rolls because of how the pity works it's lauded as one of the best types of gacha in the industry.
Your average F2Per will only ever have max copies of the initial half dozen starter launch characters and that's very unlikely even after 5 years that someone has all of them maxed while staying f2p. Unlike most other types of gacha where people have maxed out multiple characters as free to play.

You people need to be kept away from mobile games I swear. This leads to power creep overtaking the game and all major content requiring new characters to do anything with. Genshin works because you can clear everything with anything given to you for free. You might not be able to do the SA, IT, or SO but you can clear pretty much the entire game outright.

The SO is the worst content they've ever added to the game, the SA is getting more and more tanky while throwing in Local Legends as basic enemy spawns in some waves, and the IT has been getting worse and worse ever since the first four or so because so many bosses now require specific setups and you don't feel as powerful as you were at all.

Mobile games do not need hard content, they need varied and enjoyable content. The instant you start making stuff harder and harder the worst experience it is for everyone.

It definitely exists in Genshin, but it's stayed mostly in the endgame "It doesn't matter" content. It's still ridiculous that the SA and IT are getting harder and they need to cut it out, but it's still doable. With other games typically that power creep flows into the "main game" side of the content and much more effort is put into the hard content after that fact.
KHUX did this with the main story and never recovered, I couldn't even finish the last 50ish story chapters until EoS because it required pretty much the newest medals.
RGGO makes anything outside of the story content unplayable unless you are the owner of the newest cards, and an entire set of 4 new cards at that. There's even something similar to the SA that gives you necessary content to keep up with people and it's just straight up impossible to beat without modern cards.
The Battle Cats makes most new cats mandatory to do any content past the initial few worlds but you can mitigate this by finding your seed so you can just force pulls on specific banners to always get what you want. It means there's a lot of grinding to upgrade stuff for months on end but it's something you can mitigate.

I quit shortly after Sumeru's archon quest ended.
Burnt out by all the boring unskippable dialog. I youtubed the good parts of Fontaine then saw Natlan wasn't worth getting into. I had fun with the game but it's not worth getting back into now with all the mobile powercreep and STILL no skippable dialog.

An offline version of the game would be amazing. I think a lot of people would pay $80 upfront for Genshin from Monstant to Schenzyia without all the gacha shit.

Every Natlan character has a Nightsoul meter that gets activated when they use their skill or get swapped into under certain contextual actions (Mavuika or Ifa in the air, Mualani on water, Mavuika or Kachina when climbing, etc). This is called a "Nightsoul Blessing". It lets them do stuff like fly, climb walls, and so on and makes them glow.
When this meter runs out and you are in Natlan specifically it then starts taking from the meter above your health.

When any Natlan character does any elemental damage at all a Nightsoul Burst happens (That blue O you get on the screen randomly) that buffs the team based on what the character does and also decreases the CD Natlan characters' skills and burst by a certain amount of time.

It's a very simple system, the Nightsoul Burst is just a bit confusing because the tutorial doesn't explain it as simply as it can and it's also called a "Burst" implying it happens when you use a Burst.
