When I realized that I will never have kids of my own I just kind of gave up on living and I am just coasting along on the gibs of the state and alms from my aging parents. I can't muster the energy to care about the future anymore given that from my point of view, there really is no future for me.

I have two kids. I love them but I have zero quality time to myself anymore. Raising kids is a lot of work, and there are plenty of times I wish I didn't have them, so try to not feel too bad about being childless.

I'm actually a lot happier in my life without kids. If not for the biology warping their thoughts and opinions to Love Their Kid No Matter What then they'd be miserable too, not just poor and stressed. Don't fall for the babypill, live life for YOU not anything else.
