Because people who bought the PS5 were smart and in hindsight, with the current tariffs in the US, if you are American, you made an even better decision.

PS5 > PC (with Drumpf's tariffs)

You can use recent titles like "Wuchang Fallen Feathers" which runs better on the PS5 than PC. And that isnt going to change unless you but a $3k PC now (with the tariffs)

What I find interesting is all the "well then I'll just get a PC!" comments. Whether it's regarding console prices or physical media or whatever.

I actively choose to play on consoles because I prefer it. And I'm beginning to think I'm in the minority. Come home after a long day work play with the cat flop on the couch press the home button start video games.

I did the whole "PC in the living room" thing for awhile but I was always plugging in a keyboard and mouse to "fix something" and it was annoying. Love my dedicated game boxes.

To add on the topic, with the current trend of DLSS and Framegen it makes even less sense to prefer a PC over a console, if neither of them is properly rendering the frames you're watching then what difference does it make? Is it really worth it to have slightly less upscaling artifacts for 3 or 4 times the money?

Nope. The 360 was the 3rd party multiplat console and the PS3 scraped by as the niche Japanese game console. The PS4 is when Sony stole their reputation for 3rd party back because xbox got cocky.
