Rust
>One of the most popular games on steam
>Never gets threads
What keeps /v/ away from Rust?
I played it from the start, and to be frank, as I age I have little to no desire to play PvP games against:
>no-life sweats
>hackers
I don't want to spend my life constantly honing my skills, and even if I did, there's always someone better than me or more importantly, hackers that'll just fuck my shit up. This isn't fun, it's a job. And at the end of the day, there's no payout. PvE is where it's at.

Same reason why CS2 isn't discussed here despite being the most popular steam game: /v/ is mostly americans and they're too casual for sweaty pc games

So why doesn't /v/ like it?

CS2 is a shitty game and has nothing to offer. After putting 1000 hours into CSGO I simply don't care anymore.

I could never justify paying for the base game, is there a way to play SPT with a pirated copy?

If you're spending time discussing the game on /v/ that's time not spent in game farming, raiding, or defending from raids.

because the people that seriously play this would be yelled at by their clanmates if they took the time to post on kongolese bushmeat discussion boards instead of grinding
