>3 weeks later I'm still on DS1
>Over an hour of grinding with max drop rate to find channeler's trident

Dark Souls thread I guess. Holy fuck I want to kill myself isn't this shit supposed to be 5.1% with avarice, 10 humanity and covetous ring?

>Holy fuck I want to kill myself
probably should for deliberately playing such slop

dark souls two is easy to 100% if you dont mind playing up to ng++
ds3 is a nightmare, you need to beat the hardest boss in base game on ng++, and farm 3 different fucking covenants. i suggest doing it the other way and farming first, because even on NG ts took me 60 hours i believe

Anon, you will legitimately kill yourself when you get to ds3 covenant farming

You're right about the covenant grind but you can really put yourself on autopilot for that. I found DS2 more tedious to 100% but I probably didn't do it optimally. Remember that you have to 100% DS2 twice, SOTFS and original ;^)

The worst part is that I personally find DS3 to be the most boring of the trilogy. Fuck me. I might just 100% DS2 and call it a day. I am not going to covenant farm for days worth of time. Even with me item duping and glitching.
Anonymous No.717602494 [Report] >>717602775 >>717603170
Just have someone drop it for you or start with one of those mods that puts all weapons in the starting chest. Why do this to yourself?

I really don't like cheating to win. It makes the victory feel hollow and almost like I wasted my time trying. That said, I'm looking at DS3's achievements right now and holy FUCK this is retarded. Who the fuck made these achievements? I refuse to believe any sane person would actually think some of this shit is achievable without a week's worth of grinding.

if you ever care about other FS games:
in sekiro you just need to beat the game 4 times, then farm for like 5, the resources come easily if you dont ignore shit completely, and exp gain can be faster or slower depends on how you play
AC6 you need to beat 4 times basically, 3 endings, then each level replayed for an S rating. some bullshit with collecting parts and shit, but its really not that bad.
ER you can do in 1 playthrough if youre willing to savescum, other wise 3 playthroughs and thats it.

>10 humanity
Go to 99 humanity before you farm anything rare in DS1. It may take some time but it's far more worth it than having to wait on a longer grind for everything else.

what about no death no bonfire rings

I already 100% Sekiro a few years ago because of how simple it was.
ER I'm close to completing too. I think I just need to do 2 different endings and it's done.
I've never played any of the AC games though. I want to but I'm too poor to buy AC6 right now.

Not that anon but I can definitely recommend AC6 once you have the money to spare, I enjoyed it a lot more than Elden Ring myself.

The max cap for humanity when it comes to drop rate is 10. Hard cap for humanity (ie. there's literally no benefit for going above) is 50 iirc.

>>717603026
NTA but those rings aren't required for any of the achievements. I think the hardest achievement in DS2 has to do with the covenant of champions.

they arent needed for all rings achievement in ds2, thankfully
>>717603029
in ER if youve already beaten all the bosses needed then doing the endings will be pretty quick. i think you only need 2 great runes to progress.
AC6 was my first armored core game, and i liked it a lot. do try to get it on sales or something

Guess I should have specified that. I'm autistic but I am not going to put myself through getting the no bonfire+no death rings in DS2. I value my life, sanity and time far too much to put myself through that.
Anonymous No.717603480 [Report]
>>717603265
i mean, i guess i havent 100% any souls games, because then i'd need to get every weapon/armor set too, and im not autistic enough for that at all.

have fun gathering covenant items you retard
Anonymous No.717603796 [Report] >>717603974
For me, it's getting platinum in BB. It's the right amount of grind and fun. Hardest part is killing the shark faggots in the well. I want to platinum dead rising but the one achievement where you have to play the game for 8 hours straight is too autistic for me.
>>717603310
Sekiro isn't that hard unless you are doing charmless. The achievements for sekiro aren't as hard to get compared to the souls game either because you don't have to autistically grind.

Sekiro is harder to learn, not harder to finish. Once you've gotten good enough at the combat you basically don't need to improve any more. It also has much easier achievements than the Dark Souls trilogy.

I've done Dark Souls 100% twice. Once on PS3 and once on Steam. The second time it only took me 40ish hours.

For me it's the audio mixing of DS3 that makes me not want to play it ever again.

DS3 is the worst imo because no matter what equipment or loadout you use, it'll always ultimately come down to roll spamming. DS2 is annoying with it's enemy spam but at least you have some variety in how you build your character.

It's the 7 day survivor achievement and it is actually 14 hours lmao. You can pause it I guess but you have to play the survival mode for 7 in game days or 14 hours and you can leave it idle or you will die and lose it all.
