Most overrated soulslike. It’s not a bad game, but massively overhyped. I genuinely think it’s because it was the first souls game that a lot of zoomers played, and they got filtered so hard its difficulty became a meme — beating it made you a “true gamer.” Which is funny because it’s actually not a hard game at all, zoomers are just shitters. The level design is horrendous in the game btw. Possibly the worst level design in any soulslike other than Lies of P (Lies of Twink).

As someone who virtually never pays more than $10 for a game, Sekiro is actually worth the $30 I paid for it a couple years ago. But you can almost certainly get it cheaper if you get a used copy for a previous gen console.

meh...it had its fun aspects but the difficulty walls were nowhere near as satisfying to overcome as they are in souls games. for whatever reason i got rekt by that goddamn guardian ape dozens of times, and when i finally beat it i didn't have any of that heart pounding accomplishment feeling, i just hated the bastard even more. i have zero desire to replay it
