NTA but ill answer the question, using this most recent month:
welkin + battle pass average to about $12 for the month
on no-content days about 10 minutes per day using resin for artifacts, x 31 days is 310 minutes or 5 hours 10 minutes for the month.
there are usually a minigame event here and there but nothing too time consuming, maybe an hour or two total
recently there was a summer event and Ineffa character quest maybe 10-15 hours between the two
end game content reset of Imaginarium Theater, Spiral Abyss, and Stygian Onslaught. SO is the only really time consuming one but between the three probably 3-4 hours on this for the month but i only did SO to difficulty 5.
totaled out to something like 26 hours and $12 spent.
i got 19 hours out of Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart for example and i bought that when it was new, while Genshin I've played for over 3 years at this point.
