Is JC likeable? Isn't the point of him to be an avatar for the player so he intentionally has flat personality? I mean I like him, but I also feel like the writers didn't know whether to make him an actual character or just a vehicle. At times he's emotionless and flat, while other times he gets invested in a conversation and showcases his own biases and personality.
To the writer's credit, JC is one of only a few protags I've seen that can actually be flat out wrong in a conversation and get schooled by another character (do you have a single fact to back that up).
