What's the oldest save file you still have?

it was wild to me PS played had to use a separate card to save games

I think a Golden Sun file from like 2002 or 2003
Wish I had my old ps1 and gc memory cards

I have my Mega Man Legends 1&2 saves from 2000, along with my father's Gran Turismo 2 saves from the same year. Both were on a third party memory card device that plugged into the serial port on early Playstation models. We sold our PS1 to get a PS2 in 2001, as a result those saves were left completely untouched for two decades as the serial port on PS2 is completely different.

That toy Pokédex from when Pokémon was still new in the west. Not really a game but has data dated from the 90's on it.

Who knows maybe a Spyro 2 save file. I used to start games over because I forgot what I was doing. I lost my copy of Spyro 2 on ps1 so I never got to restart it. Its the one where he skateboards. So yeah thats probably my oldest existing save file, implying the memory card still works. If not it would be an old ps2 game. Maybe Godai or Arctic Thunder?

if the cartridge still works it's gotta be pokemon silver from when i was a kid.

I might have carts that still have older saves, but I have photos from my Game Boy Camera from like '99 that I saved for 25 years.

Probably my N64 games as a whole. I've been meaning to get the means to dump my Pokémon Stadium 2 save so I can save my first non-Gyarados shiny. A lot of my earliest Pokemon still persist there as well. I need to get them out.

sonic adventure from 1999

I still have my N64 OoT cartridge, so probably that.
