Final Fantasy XII gets way too much hate. People complained it wasn't turn-based like the older ones, but the gambit system was actually really clever and gave you tons of control without micromanaging every move. The world was massive, the art style was gorgeous, and the political storyline was a nice change of pace from the usual "kill god" trope. Just admit y’all were mad Vaan looked like a rejected Kingdom Hearts OC and move on.
