cause Warframe was a game clearly listed as early development made by a much smaller studio at the time. And it would have died if they didn't listen to TB. They pivoted hard to into building a community to communicate with. And then they slowly improved the game. First Descendant is directly competing with Warframe and the only difference being that First Descendant is about hot human characters vs Warframe's humanoid shaped organic material armors. They have to compete with a decade+ worth of content and improvements and community. And because they're driven by Nexon, their monetization efforts are what turns the playerbase away, among other things, namely that Warframe in every iteration (post wall running removal) is leagues more fluid than FD, and a lot of times a gameplay experience and be make it break by the movement options alone, and more importantly the terrain design in which you move through. I know they added the thing where you can hook anywhere, but most of the playerbase died before that was implemented. Before that, hooking wasn't satisfying at all, even when you maximized it it felt really bad.
