Dedicated MMO player here.
90% of MMOs were huge financial failures reason why nobody wanted to invest on them once mobile became the standard because with mobile games you released a trash game and it will keep generating revenue over time but when a MMO died it will still cost money to run and generate nothing.
Not even 10% of Korean MMOs got global releases, you have no idea how much money was wasted trying to become THE ONE.
