I watched a Youtube video of a guy playing grand theft auto and killing a bunch of police officers and random innocent civilians and I actually was kind of offended by it. It reminded me of mass shootings that happened in real life. Am I getting old?

I kind of get it. We're so desentisized to it that its not fun anymore. If I play GTA I dont kill random people since I've seen all the animations a million times, its actually more fun to avoid killing. But seeing someone go on a spree just doesn't interest me anymore. Now I'm more specialized in my fun, I'll pretend to stalk one npc and then make up a story about them and then kill them in a brutal way like cornering them and stabbing them slowly, or boxing them in with cars and laying satchels all over and counting down.
