The biggest boon of the parry is breaking the enemies weapon to severely cripple their damage, and contributing to a big stagger attack

this game is somewhere between code vein and dark souls in terms of combat. it's not quite as retarded as code vein but also not as good as dark souls.

You parry to break their stamina faster. When they're out of stamina, you can perform a strong attack. For smaller enemies, parry also can break enemy weapons, make them do significantly less damage.
You should only really be trying to parry enemies and attacks you've become familiar with. Just block and then recuperate health or dodge otherwise.

If you think Elden Ring is easier then you haven't replayed DS1 since you first played it. You can play Elden Ring with the Mimic Tear and Bleed weapons, and DS1 is still the easier game. DS1 is my second favorite From game after Sekiro, but that's not because it's a challenging game.

It's always funny when an anon complains about a game because it always shows just how absolute garbage they are at it. They'll try to do anything to deflect away from that but at the end of the day, if he just posts a webm of him playing, we could all be entertained by how ass he is at the game.

It's more like a bloodborne/sekiro hybrid with some bioshock mixed in than a dark souls game. I liked it a lot.
